The identification of laundry and the administration of laundry data is an essential part of the modern laundry process. Therefore GERA-IDENT has developed the laundry identification system tex.ident® which depicts the totality of the laundry process.

The tex.ident® system works independently of the chosen data medium.It contains all hard- and software components for a smoothidentification process including peripheral devices, such as label printersand patch machines. An important main area of our work is theidentification of individual laundry items and its proper sorting beforedelivery.

In order to grant that, GERA-IDENT developed an electronic sortingshelf that includes light sources.
